What is coach supervision, and why is it important?
Coach supervision is an opportunity to celebrate our successes, to grow our skills, and to develop our practice, being at our best for our clients. For a coach to be supervised about their client work is now becoming established as a core professional expectation – sought by coaches, and expected by clients, sponsors and commissioners of coaching. The main professional coaching bodies all require supervision or coach mentoring as a requirement for accreditation.
Bernadette Cass and John Gray are experienced accredited coaches, coach supervisors and trainers of coaches. Our intention is to support coaches to be effective, creative and resourceful in their work, and to have powerful relationships with clients.
We’re based in the beautiful City of York and met on a professional development workshop. Realising we share common beliefs about the value of learning, we decided to combine our passion for development and work together to design programmes and offer supervision.
